Myers of this city were quietly married at thc St. James hotel yesterday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock, the ceremony being perform ed by Rev. J>. W. Speake. Mr. Myers waa formerly of Colum bia and came to Anderson about a month ago where he is omployed by the Southern Bell Telephone com pany. Sunday morning Miss Nuna maker left Columbia with a party of friends fur Altapass where they wero going on a vacation. "Afr.' Miss Nunamaker came to Anderson Sunday afternoon and spent Sum J.y night with friends and her mother readied thc city yesterday morning. The ceremony was performed yes terday afternoon at 4: ?50 in the par ios of tho St. James. Mrs. Nuna maker and Mr. James Jressley being the only witnesses. Immediately af ter the ceremony the young bride's mother left for Greenville and was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Myers. Tiiey returned to the city last night and are stopping for the present at the St. James hotel. Mrs. Myers is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Nunamaker of Co lumbia.
