Cleveland school district is about four miles east of llonea Path. There is one two-teacher school in the dis trict, but it is one of the most wide awake and progressive districts in Anderson county. 01 her* May Follow. A Splendid Record. The clostng exercises of the West Pelzer school were held last Tuesday, and "un interesting program was car ried out. In the declamation contest was one of the features of the program. Tbo correspondents sending in this news itein neglected, however, to glvfj the name of the winner. The medal was given by the West Peler School Improvement Association, and is to be -^iven annually hereafter. Tbo Judges of the contest were: Miss Sara Cobb, Miss.- Maggie M. Garllngton and Or. F. M.
