Contributions are being made on a most liberal scale, especially by merchants throughout the North. Mr. . A. T. Stewart alone has given thousands of dollars wurth of goods. Some aid, as we learn from a recent article in the London Times, tnay also.be expected from England The fair will be kept up for ten days, and it is believed that the receipts will be between ?73,000 and ?100,000. In aid of tbo fa'r, and during its progress, a scries of dramatic entertainments will be given at Concordia Opera House, Baltimore, by the Baltimore Amateur Dramatic Club, composed of some of the first ladies and gentlemen of Baltimore.
