GUYSOTTS IMPROVED EXTRACT OF S Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla, FOR the cure of all diseases or disorders gene- r rated by impure blood. Its great success justly entitles it to the name of the Great Ameri- B can specific. * n So far as it is known it is universally apprecia- o ted, and many eminent physicians use it daily in their practice with the most happy effects, and certify that it is the best extract in existence, and the only orie that stands the test of time. ; Every year adds to its great popularity, and * multiplies its astounding cures. The victim of Hereditary Scrofula, with supporting glands, honey-combed flesh, and caries ealing into his bones, finds Guysott's Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla balm for his affliction. His horrible torments are assuaged, and his malady not only relieved, but perfectly cured. ft may be safely asserted, from the results of past experience, that "Dr. Guysott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla," is, beyond all comparison, the most wonderful remedy on earth for the following diseases, and ail others proceeding from vitiated blood: Scrofula, or King's Evil, Rheumatism, Obstinate Cutaneous Eruptions, Pimples or Pustules on the face, B otches, Boils, Chrouic Sore Eyes, Ringworm or Tetter, Sc,ald Head, Enlargement and Pains of the Bones and Joints, Stubborn Ulcers, Syphilitic Lumbago, and I Diseases arising from an injudicious use of Mercury, Acites or Dropsy, Exposure or Imprudence in Life, Liver Complaint, Ague and Fever, Intermitting Fever, Cholera Morbus, Dysentery, Diarr- rhoea, Plethora of Blood in the Head, Piles, Pains in the Back, Sides, Breast or Loins, and all forms of Muscular, Glandular, and Skin diseases. It is a sovereign specific for General Debility, and the best renovater for a Broken Constitution. 0 It braces and reinvigorates every organ, promotes actictity and regularity in every function, and produces that condition of the whole physical system which is the best Security for long life. i Let all who wish to purge the blood from the I imp&rities contracted from tie free indulgence of I the appetite during the winter, and to prepare the e system to resist summer epidemics, resort now to t " Guysott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsapa- I rilla," which is proving itself an antidote for ma- i ny of the most malignant diseases^ that flesh is I heir to, and they will never be disappointed, for in I this remedy the public taitli has never wavered? c """"" fnr it it I'miiirlort nn pvnpripnep. e just as their want of faith in other and spurious 1 compounds is also founded in experience. They c fly from mineral nostrums to seek hope, life, and ( vigor from this purely vegetable remedy. There- s fore, however broken down in health and spirits, * however loalhesome to himself and others, let no t one despair of recovery; let the patient only un- I derstand that this hope of physical restoration lies only in " Guvsott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla," and persuade him for his life's I sake to try it. and we have no hesitation in pre- f dieting his speedy restoration to health. r As a means of regulating all the functions of 1 woman's delicate organization, it has no equal in c materia medica, and at that ci itical period of life e when the first stage of her decline commences, 1 its cordial and invigorating properties will enable her to pass the crisis safeiy. Croup, Asthma, Consumption of the Lungs, Spitting of Blood, Bronchitis, Hooping Cough, and all Pulmonary Affections. A Lovely Young Lady cured of Consumption. ID" The following is from the pen of Wm. 11. L?vi?on, Esq., the distinguished editor of the U ! S. Military and Naval Argus, under date New York. January 26, 1850. What could be more 1 conclusive? t " It is seldom we permit, ourselves to occupy a space in these columns to speak in praise of any article in the patent tnebicine way; but when we see the life of a fellow-creature saved by the use of any medicine whatever, we consider it as our right, it not our duty, to give a simple statement 8 of facts, that others may, in like manner, be bene- ^ fitted. The cose which has induced us to pen this article was that ofa young lady ofour acquaintance, who by frequent exposure to tiie night air, contracted a Cold which settled on the Lungs be- ~ fore its ravages could be stayed. (This occurred j two years ago this winter) Various remedies were used, but with very little effect or benefit.? The Cough grew worse, with copious expectoration, and the sunken eye, and pale, hollow cheeks, . told plainly that pulmonary disease was doing its c worst on her delicate frame. The family physi- ( cian was consulted, and although lie would not admit to the young lady that she really had the Consumption, yet he would give 110 encouragement as to a cure. At this crisis her mother was persuaded to make use of a bottle of Dr. Rogers Com- " pound Syrup of Liverwort anAfltor, and we are happy to state she was perfectly cured in less than three months by this medicine alone, alter even hope was destroyed. It is useless to comment 011 such a case as this, for the simple truth will reach 1 where polished fiction never can. If any doubt the authenticity of this statement, let them call at this office.? V. &. Military and A aval Argus, Ad. 19 Chatham street, jV. Y. Testimonies of the N. Y. Press." | From the New York Courier. Aug. 13, 1850. ^ t Dr. Rogers'Svrup of Liverwort ano Tar.? i VVe have heard of several important cures recently effected by this excellent medicinal preparation, and in one instance that rarne under our obsei va- j lion, we can speak confidantly. One of onr employees, who had suffered severely from a long landing cold, during the past wook commenced | the n?e of this medicine, and his Cold lias entirely disappeared. From the New York Mirror, Sep. 'i, 1850. Liverwort and Tar.?Of the virtues of Dr. : ' R gers' Cough Medicines prepared irom the above \ articles, tt is needless now to speak; its efficacy in j speedily curing Coughs, Colds, and other lung ' j complaints, which too frequently, if neglected, re. j < suit in Consumption, is too well established in public confidence to need eulogy now. ?
