Several weeks ago two Strang egroes appeared near the home o anson Fundcrburk and Laney Fur erburk. By agreement a shooting o irget practice was engaged in. It i tleged that while the Funderbur egroes were inspecting the targe ?at the strange negroes shot then anson being killed instantly an aney dying of his wounds. The mui erers disappeared. Those who did the doubl illing had been recognized by anotl r party who saw them in compan ith the Funderburk negroes. Thi arty went with the sheriff on bot ips to identify the accused but the ere not located at those times.
