A v5> little later 1 noticed that a Mr. Smith ^ from Pageland sold the cotton and seed of one bale for $162. ^ But you will have to hand it to Mr. B. W. Sullivan of Jefferson who sold a bale a few days ago here, the cotton alone netting him $143.02.
