Services at Pleasant Grove
The series of revival services
held at Pleasant Grove M. E.
' Church by Rev. J. D. llarrelson,
L closed on Sunday night. The
church was wonderfully built up
, by these services. Eighteen
, joined the Methodist, church and
^ three went to the Cheraw Baptist
x church.
The regular Wednesday night
. prayer meeting will continue
j but the young people of the comj
munity will relieve ti e pastor of
j this burden. About twenty-five
have pledged their service in
t the prayer meeting.
3 Mr. llarrelson did seme good
preaching and the responses
were without excitement but
~ with determination. The laat
two services were given to ad,
vices for the future and the converts
have no hope of remaining
J, steadfast, save by getting busy
for their newly found Lord. The
pastor, ltev. Paul T. Wood, is
3 well pleased with Mr. Harrelson'R
work.
