We made each and every ine welcome, and somf very nice papers were read, representing their union. Then a very nice sermon was preached by the Rev. Harris of Clinton, S. C. then dinner was served on the ground. After dinner, we all returned for society. Sunday night some of the members went to Ridge Hill Baptist Church, with a great storm overtaking some of them and causes some death; so I advise you, to wake up and live before its too late. Church of St. J George, S. lost a most faithful and loving lhember iu person of Mrs.' Rebecca Simmons. She loved supporter of the same Her home ' was the preachers home. The j church was filled to its capacity during her funeral and ?others who could not be seated. She was a law biding citizen. The community has lost a loving neighbor, the children a-sweet loving and devoted mother. She was a true altd tired Christian. She lived the life and died the death L>arlington claims a large part of her sweetness because she was in Darlington quite often with her daughter, Mrs. Gibbs and she won many friends while there. We will miss her sweet smiles and tender loving voice.
