which was very successful. We
hud with us Rev. LeRoy Jackson
who took his text from St. Luke
14:10 and delivered a wonderful
sermon. We are hoping to have
him with us again, soon. New
Hope and Round Top choirs were
with us and delivered fine selec- '>
ti(>ns. We are always delighted'

us and we have with us Mr. Robert
Mickle and Mr. Jim Gladden

been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Alex
Russell. W,, are very ' glad to
have juu in our midst.
Roy. and Mis. Talley were in
Miami. Tin. recently and upon
their return Mrs. Talley made a

did remarks. We are phased to
have them back because Mrs. Talley
is our pianist ami is always
on her post of duty every pleaching

Obituary of Mr. Peter Boozer
Mr. Peter Boozer was born
December 24, 1856, and when he
died he had lived through eighty
four years.
Mr. Boozer's life i? one of or\n
sistent Christianity. He had been
connected with churches of two
denominations in his life. He first
joined the Trinity A. M. E. church
but later chose to become a Baptist,
and joined Belmont, under
:the pastorate of the late Rev.
B. B. Bibbs. He was ordaineci as
- deacon; under RevT W.~R. Reeder ? .
and Rev. J. P. Robinson, both of
whom are 0n the platform today.
Mr. Boozer had been married
twice. In his youth he married
Vinnie Wilson. To this union one
child was born, but the Lord saw
fit to take the child and its mother
to the great beyond. He was
- then?married to?Miss Eugene
Gary, the widow who survives
him. To this union one child was

of Belmont church, and he held
