So satis tory was his work that when an opportunity occurred, he was promoted to the posiition of assistant manacer of the Greenville district with his office in Anderson. He, his wife, and little daughter mad< therr home in that city. In Greenville he was an active ( church worker. He served as assistant superintendent of the Sunday schogl and also as president of the BYPU, And in Anderson his religious" life continued" to keep pa? with his other activities. He became-a member of the Royal Baptist church of that city. And in time he was elected Supt. of th< Sunday school there.
