Rev. White, her pastor, sent a letter of hiphest commendation as a Christian and educational worker She was a member of the church choir and also the Nell Hunter Choral club. A splendid propram was arranped locally for the .funeral. The larpe attendance evidenced the esteem held for her. A number of friends were -brrv?frrrrn WlnsTfln-Salem and other places. She was married to Walter Smith, July -3V 1039, -Those sur- 7 vivinp her are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Theresa Brown Taylor; two sisters: Mrs. CurtiB Taylor Josua and Mrs. Lila Taylor Manninp, all 'of Winston-Salem, N.
