Crutch field and other t relatives and the World's Fair until school . opens next ; month. . , THE PALMETTO LEADS THE CHURCH IN NEED OF LEADERS WITH A FORWARD MOVEMENT The average leader's 'of nc/wdays are too apt to back steps, to find .out what is in store for self, not regarding the explicit direction given in thR commission:""Rome" 8th chapter, 14th verse; Hebrew 11th chapter, 25th verse. We noted under the Old Dispensation/ when the church had only a brojken law for its discipline. Before the plan was formulated that a man could be born < again, God commissioned such leaders as 11,. saw fit. and asked them to keep the Law and not depart from it. Then gave them that would obey, the assurance that I'll be with you. Joshua 1st chapter. 2nd verse. Deuteronomy 8tb chapter, 1st thru the 4th verses. Men of nowdays, the suppose divine leaders, have learned a back step trying to provide for himself, which is out of Divine orders. Job 38th chapter, 39th thru 41st verse; 121 Psalms 3rd thru 8th verse. You will note that Jehovah was only talking to those who walked upright and resist evil; Prov. 1st chapter, 10th verse; I 4t4u chapter and 14th verse. We must first have a Divine operation on our hearts, before we can possess a Divine nature, which only can Jbc formed by tho Holy Spirit, according to out own will. Under the Law c/f Moses whi.ch was handed down from God, men was chosen at their own will. Should not the grace of God thru thp death of Jesus Christ be of more effect. Exodus 32pd chapter 20th verse; Galations 1st chapter 1st through 11th verse. God has never chosed a man in his sins to lead his church. Before the death off our "Lord He ~ sent His disciples to the lost sheep of the House of Israel, not in the way of the Gentiles, telling them to make no provision for their journey. Luke 10th chapter 20th verse: Men rejoicing over their voice. Hebrew 12th chapter 23rd verse. When -one knows by a new birth and- ii changed hearts that their name,is- written in heaven, thero -wrH be n(/ worldly habits following an individual through this Divine refinement. II Peter 1st chapter, 1st through 11th verses. There "wit! he no back steps because the Holy Spirit has ever had a forward movement to higher and better?things^?-for the spirit giv.es "Ooiliple He fellowship with the Father and the Son. I John 1st and 2nd chapters. We have today -cores of suppose leaders who are slaves to their appetites, which gives them a constant backward stepping, and for one to step back his work. I John 3rd chapter, ward they are found to stumble. We know that a man is known by The spiiit of the devil often re fers to the sayings' of Christ to the young ruler, and they overrates themselves. Matthew 19th chapter 17th verse. There is none good but the Father which h heaven. The Lord didn't say that. If the young ruler would hav(. niadg a combinational confession of the oneness of the Father and Son. This would have brought him in fellowship with God. REV. C. J. KOHN.
