Martin, presented a series of "programs during the regular- chapel periods; J dered by the pupils in their first program Monday, brought out many health essentials. 1 . J The highlight of the program Thursday was a playlet written by Miss Martin and-presented by the class. The playlet was based o n health and courtesy. A ?doctor sciged- with applicants- answering his ad for an office helper, is disgusted because eveTy applicant does not seem to. have the necessary health or courtesy traits he desires. At'last comes a person who has these traits, and the doctor employs her with pleasure. uemonstrauons in pnysicai exercises were also given. The program climaxed with the singing of "Goin' Home" by Miss Martin. I The Glee Club and the Alpha Beta Gamma society presented the first, of a esries of programs at the Bethel Baptist-church Sunday evening. The community is looking forward to Dr. McGill's coming with great anxiety. The school is ending its 5th year of work under Prof. L. D. Bradley as principal.
