The Stewardess board under the leadership of Mrs. Mattie Williams is running 'tops' with a popularity contest in which Mrs. Ida Edwards won over her oppo-? nent Mrs. Patsy White. The Ladies' Aid in' its first two ' meetings of the year, was entertained by Mrs. Sally Johnson and Patsy Blakely, who contested for the honor of bfcttei- -hnstnss We are now having^ one of the greatest revival meetings at our church that we have ever had. People are coming from far and near. It is being conducted by Dr. L. Morris of Charleston. S. C. Dr. Morris is a great preacher. Our second quarterly conference will begin on Sunday and end on Monday night. Our Presiding Elder, Dr. T. J. Miles will preach -to. all day Sunday. Right" Many souls were made to feel rejoicing from the preaching of the gospel. L On last Monday night a Tom Thumb Wedding. was had at our Church in interest of the educational rally we have on.
