After a brief worship period the
club entered into its business discussion.
Mrs. Adair, the treasurer
reported that the annual quota
had not only been met but exceeded
visit to the Home and spoke in
commendable terms of the work
there.
The club encourages high scholarship
at Brainerd institute and
Finley High school. A prize of
$2.50 is given to the 7th grade
pttpils who rank highest in these
two schools.
At the conclusion of the busi
jieas session, Mrs. Allen, the hostess
presented an interesting pro

a brief study of the lesson, the

Robinson. Morning services opened
at 11:15 with the pastor en duty.
A soul stirring sermon was
deliverer by the pastor; his text
was found Exodus 14:13.
After service the pastor and his
wife was invited over to Mrs. Eva
Herndon, at Herndon, St. After,
arriving tliey met the" other guests
they are as follows: Mrs. Moore of
Spartanburg, Mrs. Aurelia Rico
and sister, Mrs. Nannie .Mae Lee.
The dinner was enjoyed by all. Service
Sunday night was at the usu- _

The Royal Collegians entertained

throughout the city, spent a most
delightful evening Monday, May
24th, at the lovely home of Mr. and
Mrs. Haskell Brown, 2212 Washington
St., with Mr. George W.
Epps as host. The guests arrived
between 8:00 and 9:00 p. m. Many '
cut flowers in pastel shades brightcned
the party rooms, anu in the
