The usujil al sermonette to the children was I / enjoyed by the little church, as '?' a well as the older folks. The subject from which the pastor spoke 1 to the children was "The word No" A moral lesson was taught. When and how to say No, was stressed by the pastor in tthe lesson. Our morning sermon was preached . J from Romans, 8th chapter, 37th , verse. The pastor delivered a stirring sermon from the theme "More than conquerors,'! . well delivered message had its effect upon the hearers. Another sermon I* - that found its effect in the hearts of the congregation, was preached from 2nd Corrinthians f?th chapter, and 4th verse. "The elements , in life that v/e cannot escape" was > the theme from which the pastor i spoke. A splendid illustration of the things that we cannot escape. but ca'n successfully combat, was given by the speaker, as he developed his subject. Mr. Henry Per? rin, brother of Sister Carrie Grant one of our faithful Stewardess, _ was buried on Sunday. The syrn1 pathies of our church goes out to the family of Mr. Perrin. We have just learned of the death of Bro. Jas. Stewart of Class No, 39; who died recently in Califor, nia. The interment "Will be held in the^ty ino wtich. lie died. Mr, J. A. We Are pleased to note thai many of our members and friends are at home again, after the elos ing of the various schools. Oui church has settled down tothe consumation of its plans for the conference year. The faithful members are working1 steadily toward that end.
