Dixon and Mrs. Alice Dixon and relatives of Mrs. Alice Dixon were the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Dervin, Sun day.' The members and friends of this community regret very much the death of Mrs. Li/.aheth. Valentine and Miss Delia Mae Suber. Both of them were active members in the church and our heartk went out with sincere sympathy with their families. At 5:30 p. m. the A. C. E. League met with the president and officers at their post of duty "The Story of the Criminal; How Society Receives Him" was discussed nicely by the member's of the league. A debate on whether an autobile is more important than a telephone was presented very nicely. At 8:00 o'clock Rev. In as much as this is true so many go along in life with the apparent idea that the wheel of time can be- made to stop just for their benefit. It this were true the church would expericne< * quite a time as far as its membership is concerned. Every church has its membership whether large or small; but these groups can be augmented to a vast extent pro. vided every bne would consider the importance of the church and the -? benefits derived therefrom.
