During the summer I have had
the opportunity of visiting1 difTeront
sections of the State, and witnessing
several revival meetings
that have been had-. Rev. D. A.
Johnson of Allen University, who
preaches at Cedar Creek A. M. E.
Church, near Columbia,- S. C., hegan
his meeting on the 12th. -of
August, which lasted through the

Each night the church was packed
