"All is quiet on the Patomae" in and around our little College is a history. Womanhood honored in the great A. M. E. Church. It's pleasing to note in the Columbia Conference that Miss' Elizabeth Brogdon of Sumter, Northeast, Mrs. Alice llagin, Mrs. _ ?-.Annie Sanders, Mrs.Ruth Link ens 7 That of' the 34 delegates to our General Conference the Laymen ?honored 4 women. We, the women of the State bow with smiles to the Columbia and Northeast Conferences, llow much more happier we would have been if each of our si* (6) conferences had hori -ored the standing uncompromising, loyal and true to the Coe Pillars of our great church; her women, trpe, loyal, etc., did I say | .yes ana more. We are found working, holding up and puffing for-" * ward in every phase .of the church and sometimes leading the various causes and no one dare say we should not receive chuich honors. To the church like at the Crucifixion, last at the Cross and first at the grave. May Jthe forward . - step of these two Conferences l?e an honored move and a cherished trope for the women of the A. Leaders who rather be right than president. Leaders that is God is well pleased with their leadership. We Want Leaders The Lay Electoral College should be a Lay College and not" Ministerial Lay Electoral C ollege. Why should we have a Lay.
