Lawrence, Pastor Quite a pleasant hour was spent in the Sunday School Sunday morning whei'o quite a number of childror and adult* had assembled fur tin purpose of discussing the lesson. S. convention was thei listened to with much interest <bi the school. Mr. W. O. Harvey wlu spoke first gave a full and concise account of the proceedings from be ginning to end.Miss Dorothy Nance ~followed> with a very good account of the work of the convention. Thes* young people did credit to themselves * and the school of which they form a part. ' -?^ The revival is going on and much good is being accomplished. Mrs./ M. Burton, evangelist and Mrs. Jone.i gospel singer were at they-- pojsl" and wonderfully impressive service 'wen had Sdnday as well as during thJ week. The sermons Sunday at 11:15 A. M. and 8 P. M. were -wondetfful messages witnessed by the ^oly spirit and bestirring- souls on every side. Text Sunday morning was taken from 1st Peter 2*5; subject "Goa's Spiritual House,"* and at 8 P. M. the text was taken from the Book ul Amos 12:; subject "Prenam to mod thy God." The sweet gospel songs led on by Mrs. Jones are serving their purpose with great good at each service Souls are being converted and revived. Quite a pleasant bout was spent with the ydung people at the Christian -Endeavor period Sunday. Sister Burton lectured the young pegnte-jram the scripture and Sister. Jones s'ang the gospel to them in quite an impessivc manner. Mauy were benefited^" thereby. We regret very much that an account of last Sunday's program was left out owing to the lack of space. CHURCH '..We are still alive and putting forth every effort to bring this ?church up to the standard where it should be. A very lively school met Sunday morning a? TD o'clock fui?Sunday School. A very splendid lesson was taught by the teachers and was of very much . interest. After the lesson the S. S. delegate made her report of the Convention which was very interesting. At 6:30 wo had a splendid league, the president was absent for awhile but the League went on just the same, The students are coming in for .school and quite-a few came in to see us. Many other friends were in to see us and worshipped with us among them w?re--soveral nurses from the Good Samaritan Hospital. We were very glad to have them all hope how soon they will come again. - Under the direction of Rev. R. FT. Greene a Junior Missionary Society has been organized, -It--is functioning very well the members seen) tq have the work at heart.
