Saturday. im~44K&? ?l:At)SON PKKSBT iT^krA^f CHURCH Sunday morniivs Mar. ~13tlf was' "Junior Day," at Ladson, The young people were at their oesi. They sang beautifully. Along with .this beautiful singing the minister Rev. A. S. Towe, delivered a very inipressive and appropriate sermon from' the text Gen. 20:31: "And the.y rose bv time in tne morning, and swoi;e one to another: and Isaac sent, them away, and they departed from him in peace-" The minister said that Isaac was prosperous because he was true to the God of his father,, Abraham. He was a peacemaker. As young people of today, we must put our trust in the .God of our fathers. We must play the role of a peacemaker. We may, have all of the necessary c-dueaticn and ,yet^ lu^ but qf .harmony with things as tliey are. .Only those who live close to -?God can be in harmony, Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clo k, Prcf. W. Lovell Turner, who is instructor of Sociology at Allen University, addressed the young people on the ' subject: "Self-made If Made "at all." He held up before the .young people lives- of men who were - suceesssiul only because they were self-made. This?address?was bothinformational and inspirational. It1 is hoped that the-young people will absorb these thoughts as they were . - presented to them by iMr. Turner and put them in every, day practice. LIBERTY IIILL A. M. E. Clll RCL Iiev. B. F.
