The Northeast Conference The Conference just closed held a , great session at Florence last week. The ordination sermon' by Bishop Ransom has been a live topic of dis-( pn&cirtri Hv I Thoiwu < A. M., D. D. made the speech of his life Wednesday morning, at the 9pen ing of the conference. The response by the- Rev. ur. A. P. Spears nt the close of the bishop's address Thursday was simply fine. Dr. D. C. Derrs is one of the most popular presiding elders in the church, and the Rev. 'E. R. Anderson, A. M.-. D. D, is among the best preachers. In sending him n to the St. George station, bishop Ran-' som was convinced of his great a-1 bility, for he has given him one of the best churches in the State.
