In his jur.-e he pictured how the knife should be n-"i n? so gave the origin of the knife. A large gathering.of.children was present and rushed to the- front as' re'sermon" by admonishing his hearers not to use the knife for the pur pose of injuring ethers as this would' lead to a sad ending. Prof. Hat ris is a recent graduate of the Boston Conservatory ,of Music having won a scholarship to Naples, Italy, where he .will resume his study in music.
