Youngblood be >. ing away, we were blessed to have our pulpit filled bv Rev. T. L. Duckett of Benedict College. He used for his text Esther 4:14.- "For if thou altogether hcddest thy peaee at V this time, then -shall there enlarge ment and deliverance arise to the Jews from.-another^ plaeep liut thou and thy father's house shall "be destroyed;' and who knoweth whether thou are come to the kingdom for such a tiwie~as this?" Kev. Duckett related to his hearers the story of Esther, the Jewish queen in the Per sian kingdom; whose lot it felt to deliver the Jews from the plot of Human, who was dear to King Ahasuereus. The outstanding thought, in the story was that Esther's place in -the Persian kingdom was to deliver tht, Jews. The question comes to us, ? what are here for, it is true that~ \\o. are living under very adverse eitcumstanfces, things at times look hopeless, but we should remember V' that we are here to serve and not 2 to give up hopes.'
