Prof. William L.-Bryant whQ has been principal of~the Manning Training School - at Manning, for the past ten years* has accepted the principalship of the Macedonia Industrial school - at Blackville. The school is very beautifully located on the slope c f?a hill on the eastern side.of the (own of Blackville with the National hi'cliwo.v bordoriny , the fnrnt of the campus. The school campus is a part (,1 the-eight, acres of farm land, owned by the si-hiiol. There are four buildinil's otn eaehip -yysh dshrhh h hhm ings on the campus. Boys' dormitory, girls' dormitory, academic building and auditoyium and a Home Economies building. Course's are taught in Homo Economics, Smith-Hughes Agriculture and shop-work as well as (he regular graded school work thru the tenth grade. The school is sup?*? fHrrfcd-hy the ~City of Blackville, the Mnccdona Baptist Assocaton, the Rosemvald Fund "and the Federal Gov??01 mnrt'iit."" ? ?*- ?? Mr. Bryant has made a splendd record for himself at Manning as a principal with a progressive program. He Is it college tfl'UflUfttfl 6! the State A. & M. The inmatcFr-fftrthe home are doing nicely with only a few exceptions. Mr. Summers and Nelson are in the hospital, hut are somewhat improved . at this writing. We hope they will continue, to improve.
