Mr, H, W. Harrison and his teachers who are doing some splendid work." For the morning service the pulpit was graced with the Rev. M. H. Holloway. The paator, Rev. H. W. Jiong delivered a scholarly sermon from the text Psa. 145:11, subject: "The Glories of the Kingdom of God." Immediately after the morning service the Women's Missionary Society held their monthly meeting, with the president, Mrs. Julia Hart Dresidinc. At 5 p. m. the B. Y. P. Everyone returned feeling jubilant over the delightful time they had. They reported it to be the best and largest attended outing in the Church'-e history. Dr. Young, the president of the .College, offered the grounds of the college to the Church for the day and cheer fully joined in making tl tyffity a pleas- J ant one for themr which was highly appreciated. . -; ISION -BAPTIST CHURCH Sunday School was indeed grand at Zion Baptist last Sunday. Bro. Thomas Dargan, our first asst. Supt. was at his post of duty and a large pe&*ent of the teachers. Dr. J. C. White preached from the subject of [ ihe "Meditation of Jesus "Christ."" - from whieh he painted vrvid pictures : of the' omnipresence of Christ, His omniscience, holiness and eternity. Our Annual Picnic leaves Zion Baplist Church, next Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock for Lever's Pond on the Winnsbofo Road. The Church at Arthurtown and Shandon-Annex will go the same day to the same place. Pastor White had special services at Arthurtown last Monday night. The Jubilee Choir of Zion and a large crowd of others-went down. The Ushers*"Board gave a big barbecue at the Church, July 6th. Special services were held at Shiloh Baptist, Wednesday night; Rev.
