The * sermon was instructive and inspiring, especially did he emphasize the entertaining of stran? gersr^Afterfhe sermon, a solo was rendered "My Mother's - Prayer," by Mrs. Vanilla Clark. She sang very touchingly and the _ doors of t.he^church were-opem ed and -eight. persons united with the chyrch. In, the .afternoon' the Allen ChristiandSndeavor League was very jiicely attended by 'children and younger people. One of the main features of the League being the song' sawiVa At the evening services the mothers had charge of the prosided. A nnmhor of papers-and talks were rendereft A papor by Mrs. L. B. Johnson, Mrs. F. G. Bauttigardmn, Mia. C. E. MuGill Mrs. Frances ThoiTiqs and others. The choir rendered special music consisting of solos,'duets, -^quartets. After - <? which he opened the doors of the church and asked all of those who would 1tke to honor, their mothers to unite with the church while the opportunity was given. We exnsrr gers a cordial invitation. A GREAT MEETING AT THE PEOPLE'S TABERNACLE. We are having a great meeting at the People sTabernacle. Dr. Alexander Willibanks is the greatest evangelist preacher in America.?Wariret nim at the ? Union' Station. A brass band accompanied him from Chavles ton, coming here in a special caiv-together with~his -wife and 4 Rev. P. Daniels., oThe pastor, Dr. R. M. Myers, J. H. Goodwin, M. P., and others marched from the Union 7 - .. station?to "the Tabernacle. A large crowd -met us there. Dr. Willibanks .was introduced by Dr. feoodwin. He made a short talk and made his announce ments for Sunday. At 11:30 Sunday he began to hurl bomb .Shells into the Devil's' camp, from the subject": ^Running tc see Jesus." That man did preach. 27 surrendered to Jesus. At night the city was out to hear this great man of God, The day ended with 57 souls on the Lord's side.
