Jocas6ee's dam was got by Bedford, a descendant from the renowned Kirksey's colt, and lie by the imported Bedford; his grand-dam by Phenomenon, and he by Sir Archy; his g. g. dam by Leopard, and he by the celebrated Quicksilver, a horse of great renown in his day. From this pedigree it will at once appear that Jocatsee has descended from a pure ancestry. as much so as anj' horse in the country.
