KELTON Kelton, Nov. 23.?We are having some fine hog-killing weather just now. Mad dogs and mad cats have been /ery common on the Pacolet ridge this fall. A mad cat came to Mr. Elzie Comer's yesterday a week ago and attacked his little son, L. E., and bit ni'm on the leg pretty badly. His father killed it and carried its head :o Columbia and had it analyzed and they said it had hydrophobia. His son s now being treated. A negro's dog ilso went mad and bit one of Mr. Ellison Garner's children on Pacolet -iage aoove urinaai snoals. They tilled the dog and Mr. Garner carried its head to Columbia. I haven't leard from him since he came back. Vlad dogs are getting to be very comnon in the fall and spring seasons, [s there no law to compel a man to till his dog when he knows it has been Ighting a mad dog?
