MEET HERE NEXT MONTH Officials for the ensuing term will be elected at the meeting Saturday night, April 4, of Post B, Travellers' Protective association, of Coulmbia, according to anouncement. Plans for the annual state convention of the South Carolina division of the association will probably be completed at that meeting. The convention will be held at Columbia May 7 and 8. Tentative plans for this .meeting were discussed at a meeting of tnepost two weeks ago, which include a launch trip upon the Congaree river, a smoker at the Jefferson hotel, and an automobile ride throughout the city for the delegates. The program committee is composed of O. E. Thomas, chairman, and C. C. Pearce, Ei. in. jjupre, c. H. Baldwin and S. B. McMaster.?Columbia Record. Charlotte, N. C., March 31.?Safe crackers secured a thousand dollars in stamps and money from the post office at Randleman, N. C., this morning at 2:30 o'clock. The mob overpowered the jailor, threw a rope over the woman's head and dragged her out of the jail.
