She ecovered sufficiently to be carried to ter home on Wednesday afternoon. \ X I SPARTANBURG ADOPTS THE COMMISSION PLAN Spartanburg, Feb. 11.?Spartanburg adopted the commission form of government in a special election held here today, by a vote of 490 for the change and 290 votes against it. The commission form of government will become effective next October upon the expiration of the present administration's term of office. Under the present act, the city will iect a mayor and four commission:rs but an amendment to the act introduced by Senator Carlisle, during the present session of the legislature, if adopted, will reduce the number of commissioners to two. Airiail was in his pulpit Sunday morning. Rev. J. E. Coker and wife are at home again and will remain here until some time in March, then Mr. Coker will take charge of his new work, which is in Charleston and Mt. Pleasant, one church in each town.
