Aspirant for Office of Solicitor Says That He Voted for Blease Last Election And Will Again This Year. During the course of his address before the Blease Club at the Fraternal Hall in this city Saturday night, Albert E. Hill, candidate for Solicitor, followed Solicitor Ott's lead and stated definitely that he was in favor of Blease for Governor. It will be remembered that at a political meeting held in Spartanburg some time ago, Mr. Otts came out for Jones and said that he would vote for Ira B. Jones and favored the Jones ticket. At that time neither Mr. HH1 nor Mr. Blackwood would state what their Views on the gubirnatorial situation were, although Mr. Otts stated that the issue was clearly defined and should be touched upon, saying that oach candidate should declare his position. In the course of his remarks Saturday night, Mr. Hill said that he had received a number of favors from the Governor and that the Governor had helped him out in a number of ways. He said that he voted for Blease the last time and that he intended doing . jo again this year.
