AN ORDINANCE ( ranting Special License by the Town ?f Union, S. ( ? for the Fiscal Year Beginning .Maj 1st, I1NI7. it ordained by the Mayor and Wardens of the town of Union, S. C., in found 1 Asesmbled and by Authority of same: That every person, firm company or corporation engaged in or intending to engage in any trade, business or profession hereinafter mentioned, within 'he limits of the town of Union, i shall first obtain a license from the cierk and treasurer upon the order of the mayor, and all licenses herein mentioned shall be non-transferable except by special permission of the mayor or town council: said license being for twelve months from the date said license is issued: unless for a shorter time hereinafter specially provided for; and excepting the per- ; sons, firms, companiese or corpora- j tions who having failed in procuring license under this Ordinance are actually in business during the month of May 11107, or any part of said month: said license when issued shall Unw 1 luiil .....v ......
