A twentieth century club w*s formed in our town last week and its first meeting was held with Mrs. tj. Littlejohn and Miss Fannie ittlejohn. Brown left yesterday for Jeffersonville, Tenn., to purchase mules and hogs. Miss Mary Southard, who is attending the Greenville college, has been at the home of her father, Dr. W. O. Southard, sick for several days. Mrs. Carrell H. Foster, who has been visiting in Jonesville for a week, has gone to aGffney to spend a week with her mother: then she will return to her home in Sumter. Miss lone Littlejohn, of Union, spent last Saturday in Jonesville. Mrs. J. E. Linder has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Hugh Little, in Spartanburg, for several days. Mr. and Mrs. N. 13. Eison and Miss Sue Eison are all laid up with the grippe. Mrs. Martha Knox, who has been ill for some time, is now mucn improved. Mr. and Mrs. D. P.
