The meeting will continue two days. It is something new and wo will be able to give more about its workings later on. I tee in Tins Times that Mrs. Ward, the prophet, tooth sajer and dairy voint has gone for one J. M. W. who had criticised her in a former communication to The Times. I bad really never read any of Mrs. Ward's letters or prophecies as I never thought enough of them to v Waste my time reading them. I think Mrs. Ward, Cariie Nation and the free sufferagist are all working for nttority, and I am surprised to find that such have thyr followers in this twentieth century. The election for Town Council for the ensuing year will come of! bore the 14th, and an election for a dispensary will he held the day fol lowing, so this is no off year for th< people of Jonesviile. Juanita is one of my best friends. I She writes as if she had been sad and lonely. I suspect the arrival of the expected ono cast off the depression ot her spirits more than the singing of the birds or the lowing of cattle. We Bhould always be cheerful. It adds so much to the enjoyment of others, flow much comfort we can give to those who are sorely distressed. Finally if all would try to cultivate the spirit of true cheerfulness, timo would fly quickly, and there would be no more of those lobg ' days, which reem to have no ending. i We are having good prayermeetings at the Academy every Sunday k night, generally conducted by Uncle Robert Ray.
