Crown and Bridge Work a Specialty. HOMICIDE IN OOSHEN TOWNSHII PailhU Pratt, a Negro Woman, Foun With Her Throat Cut. Her Husband Charged With the Crime. A horrible murder was committed i Goshen Township the early part of tb week. The victim was Paulina Pratt, negro women living on R. H. McCai ley's plaoe, and her husband is charge with the crime. Paulina's body wa found in the woods Wednesday morn ing by Clark Glenn, who was out hunl ing. Her throat was cut from ear t ear, nearly severing her head from he body. She had been missing since earl Monday morning, and when found he body was somewhat mutilated by bus sards. A letter addressed to her brothe was found on her person, in which sh stated that she and her husband, Tor Pratt, had had a quarrel, and that h had told her he was '"tired of her an her children, and that he would brea her neck." The letter was dated Nov 29th. A warrant was sworn out azain: Pratt, and when arrested blood stair were found on his clothing. He was con mi ted to jail Thursday morning. It appears that Pratt and his wife di not live together agreeably, and ha frequent quarrels, which resulted c one or two occasions in their separatioi The circumstances are such as to almn conclusively establish his guilt, and ' will hardly be able to prove his innoceni of the crime. m .
