Columbia, Feb. 15.?Twelve per? sons are dead und thirty-seven In? jured, some of them seriously, as the result of a rear-end collision at 2.43 this afternoon between two Southern Railway passenger trains one mile south of Frost, a small station six and one-half miles from Columbia, on the Columbia-Oreenville line < ?f the dead ten were killed instantly and two died in the hospital here about 7 o'clock tonight. The cause of the wreck Is debatable, claim railroad officials. All of the dead are white men, with tho excep? tion of one white woman. Of the white passengers wounded ten I were women and 24 men.
