Lemmon; secretary and treasurer, Mrs L. W. Jenkins. The programme on this occasion was .a very enjoyable one, Four members of the club who have been abroad since the organiza? tion of the club were asked to read papers or give a talk of their trips, and *hls proved very interesting. Mrs. Hugh Haynsworth read a lett?r she had written from Moscow, Russia; Miss Edith DeLorme and Miss Kate Furman gave an interesting talk of Italy and the cities they visited; Mrs. G. A. Lemmon read an account of tbe festival given in Rath. England, in Which she ook a conspicuous part. Tbe musical programme was especial, ly good. Mrs. C. W, Kingmnn played several selections from national com? posers, while Miss Eva C. Kingman sang "My Dear Soul." by Sanderson. Mrs. W T. Herbert was elected a member of the club at this meeting. Walters and Sam Jackson for creating a disturbance with the ad? ditional charge of carrying conceal? ed weapons, against Sam Jackson. Both were found guilty of the first charge and sentenced to pay $10 or serve 20 days. On the second charge Sam Jackson plead not guilty and was dismissed after the recorder had heard the evidence.
