Thomas, who until yesterday was half owner in the Becker-Thomas Drug Co., one of the largest retail drug houses in the city, startled the town today by alleging that he was robbed of $900 by Albert Dearman and John Davidson, in their gambling room on East Main street at an early hour this morning and as a result of his al? legations indictments were presented to the grand jury,today by Solicitor Sease, charging Dearman and David? son with maintaining a gambling room. The alleged gamblers are said to have jumped the town at an early hour and, though the county olliclals have wired In every direction c ha\ them apprehended, at a late hour to? night their efforts have not been pro? ductive of results.
