J. J. Haseiden and Children. Sheriff Has New Experience. Sheriff Gamble and his deputies had a new experience early this week. A phone message was received at the sheriff's office stating' that a certain man had swooped dchvn into the Warsaw community and taken away the wife and two little children of another man, a resident of the neighborhood. The sheriff went to the scene and after some little time spent in searching he located the woman and children. The miscreant man, however, was not to be found. His wherebouts would not be divulged by the woman. Sheriif Gamble rei lieved her of the two children and restored them to their father. The i mother boarded a Seaboard train and . left the scene. Sheriff Gamble was accompanied by Deputies J. P. Frierson and Billie Britton. 666 quickly relieves a cold. i ? , Thanksgiving Day Observed Here Last Thursday, Thanksgiving day, was generally observed in Kings tree. A very delightful union service was . held at the Methodist church, at 7:30 a. m. at which the Revs. C. C. Derrick and John W. Davis officiated. A large congregation was in attendance. Th 'ay dawned clear and bright with a temperature that ranged between 60 and 80 degrees during the day. At the postoffice Sunday hours were observed with the exception of the opening of the noon mail. Business j houses were all closed and a great many of the citizens took to the woods with dog and gun in pursuit of partridges, as the open season for these became effective on that day.
