The small children of the town are invited to come and hear the stories told. In the court of general sessions at B Sumter last week Adam Griffin was ir resentenced by Judge Peurifoy to be M electrocuted in the state penitentiary IV March 4. Griffin is the negro convict A who murdered the guard, Archie Sox J at the state farm by hitting him with E a shovel and was sentenced to be electrocuted December 30, 1920. His sentence was stayed however, as . papers for his appeal were being filed. I1 v Kingstree can now boast a nice res- 2 taurant. It was opened to the public Monday.
