Mr. James Kellahan, one of Kingsree's oldest and respected citizens, icd at the Kelley Sanitarium here 'uesday morning after a long illness, 'he deceased is a brother of the late tichard H. Kellahan and is survived y two daughters, Mesdamcs Cooper nd Singletary, and several brothers. Ir. Kellahan came to Kingstree from iorth Carolina many years ago and ettled in this community, where he as since made his home. He was a lember of the Baptist church and a ery quiet, unassuming man. He was buried in the Williamsburg afternoon, services cmcitx; v4vj , eing conducted by the Revs. McDowell and Davis. o Farmers* Meeting Postponed. Guerry of the Epis3pal church was in Kingstree Monay and conducted confirmation scrices at St. Alban's chapel. He was ssisted in the chancel by Archdeacon ilex Mitchell and tne service was ery impressive and beautiful. The Bishop's sermon was a powerill appeal to the Christian and sinner like on the reality of Christ. Mr. . B. Alsbro'of Greelyville was the nly candidate for confirmation. A ood congregation was present to reet the Bishop, among them being number from Andrews. -o Died at Hospital Here Mr. George Winfree, a young man rho was sent here from Andrews bout two months ago for treatment t the Kelley Sanitarium, died there 'riday morning and his remains were ent to Summerville, N. C., for interlent. The deceased was employed y the Seaboard Air Line Railroad !o., and had been located at Andrews or some time when tal<en ill. Monday night thieves entered the leat market of H. A. Miller on Main treet, breaking into the cash regiser. Fortunately only a few cents in hange had been left in the register, 'his was taken along with a key bejnging to the machine.
