M. Perry < ft Mrs. S. M. Perry, mother of Mrs. ] E. 0. Taylor and Mr. L. S. Perry of Greelyville, died very unexpedly in i Atlanta Saturday. October .'5. tbout i 2:30 o'clock. 1" Mrs. Perry formerly resided in j' Atlanta, but in recent years has made her home with her son and daughter in Greelwille. She left here on September 18th., for a visit to ] friends and relatives in her native state. She was taken sudenly ill and ! as stated in a telegram to Mrs. W. L. Taylor of this place, died Saturdayafternoon. Mrs. Perry was a lady of fine ' Christian character and possessed many noble virtues of womanhood. Her death will be a grevous shock to a host of friends in this county . whose deep sympathies go out in < full measure to the bereaved son and [laughter mentioned above. o Dr. M. D. Nesmith's office will be closed from Oct. 17th, toOct. Slst., J inclusive. The Doctor will take post ( graduate work in his professional line during this period at Columbia University, New York City, and hopes to return equipped with the latest ideas , in modern dentistry. 10-7-2tc. o Old Citizen Passes Mr. R. W. Coward, aged 81 years, 1 passed away about 10:30 Saturdaynight at the home of his son, Mr. J. W. Coward near town, anu was duiried in the old Baptist cemetary at the river here Sunday afternoon. Mr. Coward was noted for his quiet and massuming disposition. He had made his home here with his son, Mr. J. W. Coward for a number of years.
