March 8.?Surgeons at a local hospital announced that an operation on a woman revealed that a particle of plate from false teeth, lodged at the base of her lungs, had caused the patient to suffer from what doctors for seven years had believed was tuberculosis. The house of delegates of Missisk sippi recently voted $5,000 to Will Purvis, a Lamar county farmer, who r -twenty-six years ago was convicted ^ of killing a fellow citizen near CoB lumbus, Miss. American orders amounting to $50,f)00,000 have beer, booked by the Gerjnan Potash Syndicate at Berlin, says k news dispatch, which declares deliveries will be extended over a number of years. The syndicate hopes to dewfce the greater part of its output to the American export trade.
