Closing exercises of Indiantown i High school were held Monday and j Tuesday nights. May 14 and 15. All ; seemed to enjoy it. ! While Mr and Mrs D C McDaniel were driving to Kingstree recently, their horse became frightened at a car and threw Mrs McDaniel and baby out of the carriage. Their injuries were not serious. Indiantown school gave a picnic at the church Saturday. All seemed to enjoy it. There was an abundance to eat and an abundance of ice-cold lemonade. The girls played basketball and the boys baseball. The only sad feature was the teacher's departure for home. Mr D A Smith, who has been on the sick list for about a month, is convalescent. Mrs Henry Dill is visiting her son, Mr Eugene Dill, here. Miss Omega James of Morrisville has been visiting her friend. Miss Mabel Smith, returning home Saturday. Two of Mr D C McDaniel's children, Walter and Ethel, have been quite sick for the past few weeks, but we hope now that they will soon recover.
