Mr Fassoux, g man of wonderful lypnotic powers, was in Kingstree his week and entertained large auiences at tbe Uwana Theatre in conlection with the regular features ?rovided by Mr Crawford. The annual meeting of the stockholders of the Williamsburg County j Fair association was held at the J court house at noon on Monday, lhe report of the president and secretary ! was read and approved. These reports showed the association to be ' in good shape financially, considering the reverses it suffered last year on account of the destructive storm that swept this section of the State. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President, W E ' Nesmith; vice president, D E McCutchen; secretary, Geo A MeElveen; 1 treasurer, Thos McCutchen.
