An insurance agent visited the
school last week and advised that
more insurance be taken on the
school building and that a fire escape
be built.
The girls have begun to practice
basketball regularly now and hope

high school boys have almost completed
their baseball diamond just
back of the girls' court.
A list of the rules and regulations
used in the school has been published,
and anyone who wishes to understand
or investigate any part of the
system will be furnished a copy free.
The monthly teachers' meeting
was held last Thursday afternoon.
The subject for discussion was,
"Reading". A paper was read by
Miss Erckmann.then the subject was
informally discussed by all the teachers.
We hope to derive much profit
from these meetings this session.
The Wee Nee Literary society held
its regular meeting Friday, October
6. The subject for debate was: "Resolved,
That People Should Eat Less
Meat and More Vegetables". After
