COUNTY SUNDAYSCHOOL CONVENTION TO BE HELD |AT THE METHODIST CHURCH TOMORROW AND SATURDAY-INTERESTING PROGRAM The Williamsburg County Sundayschool Convention will be held by the Methodists, Baptists and Presterians of Kingstree on March 10-11, 1916, in the Methodist chifrch. The indications are that this will be one of the best Sunday-school meetings ever held in the county. The con ? ? ? One of the principal speakers for the meeting will be Mr R D Webb, general secretary of the South Carolina Sunday-school association. Mr Webb has been in the State only a MR. R. D. WEBB. few months, but he has already helped in a number of Sunday-school meetings. For thirteen years he was a teacher in a state college in Alabama. During that time he was Sunday-school superintendent, a president of the county association, and a field secretary of the Alabama Sunday-school association. His addresses come from his own experiences, and from his study of Sundayschool problems for many years Miss Agnes Ravenel, formerly of Spartanburg, but now engaged in teaching at Walterboro, has also been secured as a speaker on the programme. Miss Ravenel is an experienced worker in the primary and beginners department, and is a thoroughly practical speaker. She will also discuss missionary educa ? rt ? _ _i i tion in tne sunaay-scnooi. Besides these two workers, a number of others will take part on the programme. The officers of the county association feel that they are I fortunate in having secured these workers to help on the programme. This programme has been prepared with a view of making the meeting especially helpful to the Sundayschool superintendents, teachers and officers. It is an interdenominational meeting, and every white Sunday-school in Williamsburg county is requested to send a good delegation. The meeting is held under the auspices of the South Carolina Sunday-school association, which is a co-operative effort en the part of all denominaEions to improve Sunday-schodf con.* * - T- . ?< ' ?* h ' & * ' * ? 40Z '? ditions and Sunday-scBool work, and : stands only for those interests that * v. ! are common to Sunday-schools of all denominations.
