Farshman?Aronson.
The Bayonne (N J) Evening Times
of August 9 says:
A very pretty home wedding took
place last night at 8 o'clock at the
residence of Mr and Mrs Abram
Furshman, on West Fortieth street,
when their daughter, Miss Henrietta
Furshman, was united in marriage
to Mr Samuel Aronson, of Lanes, S
C. The ceremony was performed
by the Rev Koenigson, of Beth Abraham
Synagogue, and took place under
a floral canopy of white roses
and trailing vines. The parlors were
handsomely decorated with palms,
ferns and roses.
It was a pink and white wedding.
The bride's gown was of white pussy
* willow taffeta, over which were two
tiers of white tulle edged with taffeta
and an aprqn effect of white
Chantilly lace. The edge of the
skirt was in scallops. The bodice
was decolette with a bolero of pearls.
The veil was draped in cap effect,
caught with lillies of the valley, and
she carried a shower bouquet of
bride roses and valley lillies.
The matron of honor, Mrs Jacob
G Furshman, sister-in-law of the
bride, was in white satin gown edged
with pink rosebuds, and the bridesmaid,
Miss Sara Aronson, a niece of
the groom, was in white taffeta with
rosebud trimming. Both attendants
wore white Georgette crepe crownless^hats
with a pink band across top,
and carried bouquets of pink roses
and sweet peas.
The escorts were Jacob G Furshman
and Michael Furshman. The
groom's gift to the bride was a
beautiful diamond necklace. The
bride's gifts to hqr attendants were
pearl and diamond bar pins, and the
groom's gift to the escort was gold
cuff buttons.
An elaborate wedding banquet followed
the ceremony, the tables being
decorated with masses of pink
roses. The large wedding cake was
cut by the bride and distributed to
the guests. Mr and Mrs Aronson
departed on their wedding trip and
will spend three weeks at Atlantic
City, after which they will be for
several weeks in the mountains of

their future home in Lanes, South
Carolina, where a handsomely furnished
home is awaiting them.
The bride's going-away gown was
of cream Palm Beach cloth topped
by a white velour hat. Preceding
the ceremony a reception to her nine
nephews and nieces was held by the
bride. The presents received were
numerous and costly, and comprised
cut glass, silver, furniture and jewelry.
