January 9:?Josiah Doar, editor of the Georgetown Times, and County Superintendent ' of Education, died at 5 o'clock this ' morning, as a result of an attack of acute indigestion. He retired in 1 his usual good health and spirits 1 last night and at about 1 o'clock 1 was stricken. Physicians were immediately summoned, but to no ' avail. The death of Mr Doar is a source of sorrow to the entire community. The public schools will close tomor-! row out of his respect to his memory. Today the flags along the 1 water front are lowered to half i mast. Funeral arrangements have not . yet been made, awaiting the arrival here of relatives. BIG FIRE ON BROADWAY. Equitable Lite Insurance Sky Scraper Deslroyed.
